USA Dance Inc. is a volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to offering and sharing the thrilling excitement and delight of each social and competitive dance in areas across America. USA Dance’s focus is on providing affordable opportunities to learn and exercise ballroom dancing and this is proving quite popular with the public.
Many new ballroom dancers are taking on this beneficial and enjoyable recreational activity. The image of ballroom dancers has changed. Rather than formally dressed couples in white tie, tails, and dresses dancing in fancy ballrooms, we now see many informally dressed couples enjoying themselves in gymnasiums, community centers, and similar locations.
Throughout recent years there’s been a mind blowing growth in the interest in ballroom dancing throughout the United States.
USA Dance Inc. organizes and fosters educational programs across the nation regarding the beneficial aspects of recreational ballroom dancing and dancesport, the competitive form of ballroom dancing. Enthusiasm for ballroom dance is definitely strong with adults, but the interest among all age ranges has grown significantly during recent years.
Much of this increased interest is focused on DanceSport, the competitive variation of ballroom dancing. This can be related to the recognition of DanceSport being an Olympic sport by both the International Olympic Committee and the United States Olympic Committee.
